As a newly built school in 2013, Mackay Northern Beaches SHS has state of the art facilities, meeting industry standards in the following areas:

• Performing Arts Centre (capacity 500)
• Hospitality - Junior and Senior commercial kitchens including barista equipment
• Lecture Theatre (capacity 150)
• Engineering – industry standard welding bays, spray booth, laser equipment, robotics, engineering, wood & plastics workshops
• HPE facilities – indoor and outdoor multipurpose courts (covered and lit), quarter court basketball courts and full oval for athletics, large & small sports, team sports
