The Resource Centre is open every day from 7.45am to
3.15pm, including break times.
We provide a safe and supportive environment where
students are able to:
- use the laptop facilities,
access printers, scanners and camera equipment
- receive assistance with
Information Technology (IT) issues e.g. student passwords
- play board games and hone their
chess skills ready for the popular RC chess competition held each
year
- watch movies in our designated
movie room
- quietly study in one of the
many assigned study areas
- find a quiet comfortable spot
to read and immerse themselves in a good book.
The Resource Centre hosts a variety of
extra-curricular activities throughout the year. Information regarding these
activities can be found on Student Notices, Facebook and the Resource Centre
noticeboard which is updated daily.
Resource Centre staff are available to assist students
with research and general enquiries about school work. There is also a Senior Study
area catering for the needs of Year 11 and 12 students.
Homework Club
Homework Club operates from the Resource Centre on
Thursday afternoons from 2:45-3:45pm and is staffed by senior and junior
classroom teachers.
Scholastic Book Club
Scholastic Book Club is also managed from the Resource
Centre. Information regarding issue dates can be found on the school's Facebook
page. The school receives free resources based on the purchases made by
families and students.
Library
Our own library website is available for the school community to utilise
- at school and home. This facility will link them to the Online research
tools, Britannica & World Book Online as well as display the resources we
have available in the Resource Centre. The passwords for Britannica & World
Book can be found in the student Gold Book.
